Traditional saunas use wood stoves or heaters which heat the air, mainly via convection, to 85 degrees. Far infrared saunas, however, heat the air to approximately 55 degrees, which makes the experience more relaxing. Infrared heaters use a wavelength around 10 micrometers that is able to penetrate tissues more deeply than warm air, up to 3-5cm.
Occupants are able to develop a more vigorous sweat at a lower temperature than traditional saunas. Far Infrared machines use dry heat, meaning that you can remain clothed, dry, and comfortable.
OCNM uses the SOQI machine that is made in Japan.
